The Art of Jack Hunt
Jack Hunt is a frustrated painter living in Coshocton Ohio, that picked up a camera in order to record local images that I thought would make good paintings. I consider myself to be a modern day pictorialist, not a photographer per se, as I am not often concerned with reality. I am much more interested in creating images than simply capturing the proverbial moment in time. I believe that art should have few limits and regularly mix mediums. My favorite mediums to mix are paint and photography. Much of my work includes paint and or ink over top of photographs. I like to say my style is all about blurring the lines between painting and photography.
What I plan to sell here are my very popular smaller pieces that are meant to be displayed on a table or shelf, they come with an adjustable plate stand. I recently have began creating mug and coaster designs using the sublimation process. I will be adding to my catalogue of sublimation products in the near future. As of right now they include 11oz and 15oz coffee mugs. Four inch coasters sold individually or as sets. 6x8 inch Aluminum photo blanks featuring my images sublimated on glossy metal including an adjustable plate stand. Also we sell a lot of cold process soaps at our shop under the brand name of Barefoot & Sassy. We have a lot of repeat customers that swear by certain soaps. We sell these without a fancy label in order to keep the price low.

The young ladies on these coasters are two of my grandchildren. This year for Fathers Day I made these coasters for their Dads. Two coasters each. One coaster of their daughter younger and one coaster as they are now. The guys absolutely loved them and the women all said ,“What a neat gift idea! Lots of folks would like that.” Yes, you're right it's way too late for Fathers day this year or Mother's day either. But Christmas is coming up again before you know it.. and then of course there are birthdays, and a whole list of special occasions. My favorite one is.. “Just Because”. It doesn't have to be human kids either, we can also do pets, or any other photograph that can be cropped into a square. Have a favorite automobile? As you can see they do not have to used as coasters because they look great displayed on a small plate stand. Sold in pairs for $25.95
