J L Hunt PRINTS

At one time in the past I used to sell photography prints without mats, and have them drop shipped direct to my customers. That did not always result in a good outcome, as they were sent out without me personally seeing the print, and sometimes they were not up to my standards.
Today all prints are sent to me. I mount the prints, stamp and sign the back of each one to show that it came from me. Then I take them to the post office and mail them out a couple times a week.
This is an overall size comparison of 8x10 prints on the left vs 11x14 prints on the right. Both are matted and ready for framing. With the mat board added, the 8x10 print on the left measures 11x14 inches. The 11x14 print on the right, with mat measures 16x20 inches.

MIXED MEDIUM PRINTS ON WOODEN HARD BOARDS

My original mixed medium hard board pieces are photographic prints mounted onto nested wooden boards. They are then sealed over with clear acrylics, textured, and embellished with paints and inks by me, and then varnished. This represents a substantial investment of time and expense on my part, but the results are worth it. These may be framed if you wish but it isn't necessary as when they are finished they have pretty much the same look and feel as an acrylic painting and unlike conventional photographic prints they don't need to be under glass.
